One hot summer day

That Saturday was very hot, we went to church for worship practice, then went to San Francisco to get away from the heat. It was very cool in church, and the sea breeze in San Fran was a blessing.

不過他在表達反對意見的時候，’不要’可是說的很溜呢。

我的,你的? Nathan 還弄不清當別人說"你"或"我"的時候是不能直接copy的, 所以就會有這樣的句子出現: "爸拔幫你" 或是 "媽媽抱你"

如果糾正他"幫我"他就會改"爸拔幫我" 再問"我是誰?" 他會回答"自己"

A hot day's walk

We visited Ranch San Antonio last Saturday, when it was about 95F that day (about 35C). To make it worst, we didn't leave home until it was time for lunch (as usual), so when we arrived the park, it's about 2pm. The 1 mile hike to the ranch seemed like 2 or 3 miles because of the hot weather, and also Nathan kept stopping to watch the flowers, birds or gravel along the road. There were few trees along the trail. When we arrived the ranch, did a quick checking of the animals, we went on another long journey back to parking lot.
Nathan was strong enough to finish most of the hiking. Although mommy doesn't agree, it was worth it because we saw cows, sheep, rabbit, pig, lamb, chicken, and deer. Everyone had a good sweat day including Nathan.

To play or not to play

This was daddy's experiment when home alone with Nathan.
The experiment was to encourage a two years old to play with his food when he didn't want to eat, so we did some flight simulation and let the airplane loaded with food to land in a mouth tunnel. Before long the game got out of control and the plane dropped its goods before reaching destination, and worse yet, a monster hand came hijacked the plane along with its cargo.....
Daddy spent half an hour clean up the mess :(

July 4th, firworks night

We went to Milpitas for the 4th of July fireworks, not the biggest one around, but it's much more accessible.

pets

Daddy saved some tadpole (蝌蚪) from a drying pond, and bought a small fish tank as their home. So Nathan has his first pets. He was interested in them for two days, then they became daddy's pets. After some failure experience :( some tadpole has grown into little frogs.

Yosemite II -- Shuttle

Guess what Nathan liked most about the park? It's the shuttle. He's been shouting "公車,公車" when he first saw the shuttle. Nathan took 6 short rides of the shuttle, transferring from hotel to cabin, but he's not yet satisfied. Here are some photos about "公車"

Yosemite I -- picnic

We arrived our cabin just in time for dinner. As we are preparing for the picnic, we spotted a black bear in the woods, about 50m in infront of the cabin! Too bad daddy didn't catch him (with camera of course) Here are some photos and video of the picnic.
