Begining of TROUBLE TWO?

It's becoming very difficult to get Nathan's daily routine done, as he wants to do everything his own way. Daddy was frustrated, after fighting with Nathan for 20 minutes and not able to get Nathan to brush his teeth. And it took forever for Nathan to feed himself, so a meal usually ended with mommy feeding him -- with spoon in one hand and ruler in another.

Not sure if this is just a transition period, or how long he will outgrown this. But the battles with Nathan has cosumed too much energy of mommy and daddy, and there's no signs of winning.

Or pherhaps there's should be no battle, a two years old should be respected and take the consequence of his own decision, be it go hungry until next meal or have a smelly mouth and bad teeth?

Nathan has entered a stage that he will insist on doing everything himself, everything from eating to put on/off cloth. For everything his first response will be "Nah do it"

A busy day 3/30

Nathan visited Yang-Ming San and Tamsui with Grand parents and Mommy, Daddy. In this very busy day he played with frog, butterfly, frighten by dog and spider, also tasted coffee, afternoon tea, food from street venders, as well as delicious Japanese delicates.

It's been one month since Nathan came to Taiwan, he is having a good time. Changing/learning fast too. Here are some fast picture updates.
As you can see, Nathan has grown to a little naughty boy now, speaking many words and short sentences, and copying words people say

Something about Nathan

Since Nathan is in Taiwan visiting 外公外婆, daddy has no new photos to show. Here are some old photo's as well as something about Nathan worth putting down.
Although he can't speak whole sentence yet, Nathan expresses his opinion pretty well. And he demands to do many things himself. If you try to feed him something while he is eating, your best bet is do it while direct his attention somewhere; otherwise he will point to his bowl, asking you put food in the bowl. He usually needs a good wash for his hands as well as his face.
Most of the time you can't argue with him, he will insist things be done his way. That is, until his attention transfer to next subject.
He is quite friendly most of the time, Mommy said she took Nathan for a walk the other day in Taipei, strangers in the park were saying he is a cute boy, so he walked to them and shacked hands with them.
